In Australia we have a narrow definition of protein
For all ready-made meals on offer, the protein used seems key. Beef, chicken, lamb, fish (much rarer) or a plant-based equivalent are combined with rice and vegetables.
If they are added, the lentils, beans or peas are there as a supporting member of the ingredients - rather than to provide nutrients.
It is not easy to find all ready-made meal options
Google search is so overwhelmed with ads that it can be difficult to find all the meal options available. The new AI chat bots were no help, suggesting only a few popular (or well marketed brands) and then giving up - but were useful to find out more on brands once you found them.

We want to encourage more options
We still have over 25 ready-made meal brands we are in the process of adding. Our goal is to make it easy to find and share meal options. If we also along the way encourage a broader range of ingredients, then all the better.
